PORSCHE 911 SUPERSPORT COUPE GENUINE M491

Porsche 911 Supersport, 1985 C registration, guards red red with black pinstripe interior. This is one of a few genuine M491 wide body Supersports. 80,000 miles from new with supporting service history. This car has undergone a huge amount of work over the last two years, including a full nut and bolt engine rebuild with new pistons and barrels etc, all supplied by Porsche Centre Bournemouth. The gearbox has been completely refurbished. Bodily the car is also in stunning condition having undergone a full repaint and replacement of any panels that showed any signs of rust, most of the rubbers are new, the oil pipes have been replaced and the exhaust and heat exchangers have been replaced with a full stainless sports system which sounds incredible (original system available). Surely the very best Guards red M491 Coupe on the market today and one of the rarest Porsches ever made.

PORSCHE 911 930 TURBO 4 SPEED 1982

1982 Porsche 911 930 Turbo, Iris blue with dark blue and pasha interior, only 75,000 miles from new. Air conditioning, cd player, electric aerial original tool kit, tyre inflator, book pack, electric sunroof. Full documented history from new including 25 old mot certificates, original stamped service book, all invoices going right back to the mid eighties. This is my own car that I have had for a year and a half that I am reluctantly selling, I purchased it of the the last owner who has loved and cherished it since 1989 and it only had two previous owners prior to him. So it has very low owners for a car of its type. The condition is superb, the interior is like new and the paintwork is pretty much perfect apart from a few age related marks. This is a very rare car indeed in this colour and condition. The four speed in my opinion is a much more exciting drive than the later five speed. Desirable private number plate included.

In 1984 Porsche introduced the M491 option, which was officially called the Supersport, but was commonly known as the ‘Turbo body’. It featured the Turbo wider wheel arches front and rear and the distinctive “Whale Tail”. It also featured the stiffer Turbo suspension and the superior Turbo braking system, as well as the wider Turbo wheels and tyres. This SSE Supersport Cabriolet (option M491) cost around £10,000 more than a standard 3.2, 911 and offered all the external styling clues of a 911 Turbo without the demanding handling traits of its forced induction sibling.
