Standing strong since the late 40's Dawson Engineering has been part of the Burley village supplying fuel and offering mechanical work. Now fully owned and controlled by Charles Ramsey, we have kept Dawson Engineering going but added a touch of the classic with a purpose built showroom for you to look through.
New Forest Fuels
We are one of the only remaining garages in the UK that still run an attended service. When you refuel at Dawson Engineering you are welcome to have your levels checked and your tyres pumped up. This service has been on offer here for over seventy years. We pride ourselves on the old school approach, some of our customers still have petrol accounts which are hand written on a sheet. Trust is everything at Dawson Engineering and why we are desperately trying to hold onto original values.
We are planning, in the near future, to start offering 4 star leaded petrol as we did up until a few years ago. The pump is still in place ready to go. The only other petrol station we know offering this is up in Marlow.
