MERCEDES 280SE SALOON 1971 W108

21000 £27995

Mercedes 280SE saloon W108 series 1971 H registration, European left hand drive car, metallic silver with full black leather interior. Extremely rare manual floor change four speed gearbox. Electric sunroof , moon disc wheels, Blaupunkt stereo, showing 21,000 miles. This is the best conditioned 280SE I have ever seen by a country mile, the underside is completely rust free and in first class condition. It has spent it’s life in Portugal having been owned by a father and son from new. The paintwork and chrome is perfect and the interior is an absolute joy. Mechanically it is faultless and it drives as if it was new. It has had a recent sympathetic thorough restoration. Not the cheapest but definitely the best, it would cost you three times the asking price at least to restore one of these W108’s to this standard. This car would also make a great touring car or could easily be made eligible for many classic events including the Peking to Paris.

MERCEDES 450 SLC 1979

120000 £11995

Mercedes 450 SLC Coupe Automatic, 1979 V registration, light metallic blue with dark blue leather interior. Electric sunroof, alloy wheels, air conditioning, original stereo, first aid kit, book pack. 120,000 miles with a large history file including original purchase details, service book with over twenty stamps. This very low owner car has spent some of its life in Italy hence the condition the bodywork is in and the lack of the dreaded rust usual in these SLC’S

In my opinion the SLC is an elegant looking car although slightly bulbus in proportions, but is a true four seater as appose to the 107SL. This car remains in lovely condition throughout and it drives exceptionaly well. Viewing recommended.

MERCEDES 280SL PAGODA 1969

With out doubt mechanically perfect and by far the best 280SL Pagoda I have had the pleasure of driving. A UK specification car and the most desirable of Pagoda’s being the 280 automatic. With these cars now sometimes achieving over one hundred thousand pounds this represents excellent value. Lovely condition throughout, recently serviced and mot’d.

The original specification shown on Mercedes data cards is bright red with a black mohair soft top and beige interior, this car also has a factory supplied gloss black hard top. In the early days the car was painted to the Mercedes silver blue colour which became all the rage in the late sixties early seventies, there is still evidence around the boot lock of the original red.
