Mercedes 300D SE Adenauer 1958, finished in silver over maroon with cream leather interior piped in maroon with red carpets. 86000 miles in total with many old mot’s since being in the UK. This is the power steering model with the central lubrication system. Data card from Mercedes Benz confirming that the car retains it’s original engine, also that it was first delivered to New York in January 1959, It comes with a history file, original owners handbook and it still retains it’s original Becker Mexico radio.In it’s early days the car was registered to a Lawyer from Tampa Florida of which there is some correspondence in the history between him and the local Mercedes dealership in the early seventies. It remained in the United States until 1989, then it was shipped to the UK and then restored in the early nineties. The car is currently mot’d and is ready to be used and admired. Very good condition throughout. Believed to be one of only six in the United Kingdom.
